Hello,

I have received an .xdp file from a client, which contains the TM of a translator working on a similar translation.

Is it possible to use this with Trados (Freelance 6.5) or another program? Or should I ask for additional files?

Thanks for your help!
Silvy.

.xdp = MultiTerm iX project file Jul 1, 2005

Hi Silvy,
I have received an .xdp file from a client, which contains the TM of a translator working on a similar translation.

Are you sure there's a TM in there? .xdp files are used by MultiTerm iX to store project settings.

I suggest to double-check with your client (i) what type of content they wanted to send you; and (ii) whether the transfer may have been incomplete or damaged.

Best regards,
Ralf
