QA in Trados

I have been using SDLX and now I have just started using Trados. I have not been able to find functions that match the QA in SDLX, e.g. identifying punctuation differences between source and translation, double spaces, etc.
Is this available in Trados outside the Tag Editor environment, and where can I read about it in the Trados documentation?

There is QA Distiller. It's not cheap, but it works great with TTX files (unfortunately it still lacks the proper RTF support).
