InCopy to Trados - via Story Collector or not?

We have Trados 6.0 and 6.5 here, and have successfully been using Story Collector (.isc) for InDesign files.

Now one client is asking about InCopy.
Do I handle the InCopy-files the same way?

Is there any better/smarter way to do it? I've heard that InCopy has a built in export function, that eliminates the Story Collector step. Is it true, and does it work just as good as .isc?

Thanks for any feedback!

trados has no direct plug-in Oct 19, 2005

for incopy, but data can be interchaged without format changes between inDesign and InCopy, so use InDesign plug-in, the rest would be .isc type of processing. Best Brandis
