Hi,

I'm looking for Trados' suggested discount sheet, something that comes from Trados recommending what discount to apply on Trados projects. I've heard about it and searched the web and Trados site but not come up with anything. Hope someone can help.

Thank you,

Ellen

Trados used to recommend a "30/60/100 Rule" on translationzone.com. It's gone now, but you can travel back in time.

Hi Ellen,

If you google for "30/60/90 rule", you'll find references to it. The "rule" itself was published here:

http://www.translationzone.com/tip.asp?ID=3

This site was run by Trados, now (since the takeover) by SDL. The discount schedule now appears to have been removed. About time.

Thank you so much Hynek Nov 19, 2005

Hynek, I had been looking for this for hours and so Ellen offered me to post the question here because I wasn't a member.

Now I've become a member to thank you. I had found numerous instances of this rule here and on the internet, but I needed the actual page to back it up.

By the way, how do you "travel back in time"?

Moc dekuju, kolego!

Jean Pierre
