Term recognition Multiterm 7 on Windows XP

I have installed Trados 7 and Multiterm 7 on several computers in our office. On the computers running on Windows 2000 we have no problem.
But with the Windows XP computers, I can not open/select the termbase in the "Term Recognition Options" (in the Workbench). It then crashes and says there is a problem with TW4WIN.exe. I have tried all the "compatibility options" of this file, but the problem remains.
Do you have any suggestions? Thanks a lot.
