Hi!

As an agency, we've created a ttx file in TagEditor 7.0.
Now I wonder: can I send this file to any freelancer with older versions of TagEditor, or are we restricted to freelancers working in Tageditor 7?

Does anyone have a comprehensive list which programs can open a ttx from TagEditor 7?

Thanks for any help or ideas!

/Jan

Thanks a lot, Spiros. Can you give any hint of which versions of the above programs that will work?

My main concern is backward compatibilty with Trados/TagEditor, though.

Is there anything in the specifications of the ttx file from TagEditor 7, that will cause problems in older versions of TagEditor?
If our freelancers working in TagEditor complain about not being able to open the ttx, is there anything wrong with their settings?!

Just have a problem Dec 14, 2005

We already have a problem at the moment with a translation in ttx, created with 7.0. WE have problems converting them to SDLX 2004.
Neither the Extractor (Add-on for ttx) nor the "open file" command with ttx selection in the 2004 seems to work. We get only empty files. Someone has an idea how to resolve this?
Is it possible to save ttx files in formatting of earlier versions (Trados 6.0, 6.5) like e.g. in MS WORD, where you can save in older formats?
