Hello!

I bought a new comp and had to re-install Trados, among other things.

I'm working on my first file since the installation and I ran into the following problem: THE SOURCE TEXT IS NOT SHOWING.

But if I open the segment it shows up with no problem.

Does anybody have any idea what's going on?

Thanks!
Silvina

Agree, with one comment Mar 8, 2006

Truc Tran is spot on - hidden text has been discussed regularly in the past.

One slight change:

1. Go to menu Tools > Options
2. Click on Views tab, Under "Formatting marks", select "Hidden text"

I would recommend to select All, as this will allow you to toggle the display of hidden text using the Show/Hide button in Word. (See this recent discussion.)

Best, Ralf
