I can not clean up a document: "TTX was saved as biligual document" Thread poster: Francisco Mar Rubio (X)

I can not clean up a translated document. Workbench says something like: "TTX was saved as biligual document". I am not aware of having saved the document in any special way.

Therefore, can you please let us know
- the Word version you're using;
- the Trados version you're using (full version including the build number, please).
Also, is there anything special regarding this Word document? Did you create it yourself, or did you get it from someone else?
Have you tried to clean it using the Tw4winClean.Main macro?

Microsoft Word 97-2002
Trados 7.1.0.361 (Is this the build nummer?)
I have created the document myself, but I have tried with other documents I had cleaned up before, and I get the same problem.

That's not a Word version, but the copyright... - what's the Word version?
Build 361 is a MultiTerm build number - as a wild guess, your Workbench build is probably 719 (7.1.0.719)
I have created the document myself, but I have tried with other documents I had cleaned up before, and I get the same problem.
In Workbench, go to Options - TM Options - Tools: is any of the following two options checked?
- TRADOStag XML workflow for Workbench RTF files
- TRADOStag XML workflow for Word .doc files

...there's no point in using a TTX workflow unless you're working with TagEditor.

Thanks Ralf. Problem solved. I did not activate the Workflow option, but I did use TagEditor the other day, so I guess it changed automatically.

I just had the same problem and took two minutes to solve it thanks to your advice. I will have to remember to change settings back when working with Tag Editor.

Hi there,
I have the same problem and error message except my "workflow for word" is checked and I still cannot clean up the document, I stil receive the same error mesage. Could you please tell me if there's anything else to do.
