Trados 7 cleanning up problem

Hi all,

It seems that the current .log file in workbench is not currently available, and it seems to me that it is a file created before I uninstalled another version of Trados 7 (when I thought it was only a demo version).
Now, the name of this file has stayed in the log file box and cannot be found since it was deleted with the whole programme when uninstalled.
My question is..: where can I find a log file to carry out the cleanning up, or how can I create a relevant one, if possible?

hi,

you don't need your old .log file. This is how you create a new one:
1. in the Translator's Worbench go to: Tools>Clean up>
2. press the "Log File' button and select 'Browse'
3. in the "File name" box enter any desired name for a new .log file and go into a desired destination folder where the file should be stored
4. and press "Save".
5. you have to clean your translated document immediately without closing the "Clean Up Files" window so that the system recorded your change and it should work!
