Can somebody tell me where is it possible to find a good TRADOS tutorial for beginners? The tutorials inside the program itself are not helping me at all(

Thanks

Can only agree Oct 2, 2006

if you'll write to me personally (I cannot send you an attachment via your profile), I will send you a Trados manual "TRADOS BASICS
HERE IT IS, FROM SOMEONE, WHO COULDN'T GET STARTED EITHER:
THE "TRADOS FOR IDIOTS BY AN IDIOT" GUIDE TO THE FREELANCE VERSION. (I have 2.3 build 89)
BY LIFE JENSEN, DANISH TRANSLATOR".

I have to say that though it is written for a very outdated version, but the "Getting started" basics haven't changed much, I myself went by it some 3 years ago. I fully agree with you you that Trados Help file is orientated to advanced users only.

Did you try the tutorials Oct 3, 2006

You can load them from the Translation zone and they show the basic steps graphically using animation.

Could I take a look at that tutorial? Oct 3, 2006

Dear Uldis,
Just wondering if you would be kind enough to extend this offer to me?
If so should I contact you through your website (http://www.tulko.lv), or through email?
Thank you!
Owen
