Is it possible to remove TUs in a memory that show up as 100% matches, but contain the same content as source AND target?

Is this possible through a import/export in Trados or another programme?

Olifant? Nov 25, 2006

Probably, exporting as tmx, opening with olifant, doing any maintenance work there and then reimporting back to trados.
Have never done it but I think it should work.

.net 1.1 problem Nov 25, 2006

I have not used this tool before, and when I tried to install it it said it required .net 1.1 x...

I use the latest .net 2 to avoid difficulties with Trados Multiterm, so it seems like I have to wait for an upgrade.

Sorry for stealing your thread...
Are you sure your MT is working better with NET 2.0?
Do have any funded information about that?
What I know is that I have to have a particular version of Java Runtime for MT, and I was also told I would need NET 1.1, so that´s why I´m asking.
I have trouble with MT build 361, so I´m still using build 320, with JRE 1.4.2_08 and .NET 1.1.
Nevertheless, I have also JRE 1.4.2_03 and also J2SE 5.0 updates 5, 6 and 9...
As for the NET Framework I have 1.0.3705 (German), 1.1, 1.1 hotfix and 2.0 on my machine...
Maybe my troubles result from this variety.

Thank you for any information - perhaps better via my profile, in order not to disturb this thread anymore - or we start a new one only about that.
Thank you

Best regards
Jerzy

I use MT build 327, but I read in som of the forums here that keeping both .net 1.1 and .net 2 could cause problems with MT. I don't have any more information than that. I use JRE 1.4.2.08.

I suppose that my MT build is why everything works, not removing .net 1.1.

Thank you Nov 26, 2006

On SDL Trados Support Page I found the information, that installing the latest .NET Framework and deinstalling any other older version of it might help against some Trados problems. This is what I yesterday did. I have now only .NET Framework 2.0 and .NET Framework 3.0 on my PC.
In fact I deinstalled all versions of NET Framework yesterday (1.0 through 2.0) and installed only .NET Framework 3.0 from the corresponding MS distrubutable, but it installed both NET 2 and 3...

Kind regards
Jerzy

Hi Ivan, sorry I didn't reply earlier, I don't visit very often nowadays!
Try this version http://okapi.sourceforge.net/Release/Olifant/ReadMe.htm
