Hi all,

I wonder if it is possible to work on INX files in Trados 7.x and translate into RTL languages like Farsi?

One translator indicated that the Farsi characters look fine during the translation in TagEditor, but will come up garbled afterwards, when opening in InDesign CS2.

Anybody have experiences of this? Precautions that we have to think of?

Is it any point in the first place to translate INX files into RTL languages, since the layout will be so radically different?

Thanks for any input!

/Jan

Perhaps nobody here tried to translate INX files into any RTL language, maybe it's a stupid idea in the first place?

I'm curious to hear about both successful and unsuccessful attempts.

Thanks a lot for any input!

/Jan
