I am currently working on the translation of a Word file (Windows XP) with Trados 7.0.
I cannot find how to open the footnotes to translate them, even with the Help section of Trados. I must be forgetting to do a very simple thing, so please enlighten me!

There are several old topics dealing with this issue - have you used the forum search?
You may also want to refer to the Trados File Formats Reference Guide, which is part of your Trados installation (check SDL Trados 7 - Documentation).
