For some time I have had some problems with Tageditor (running under Win XP). Most of the time it works fine, however, when I receive files for proof-reading (.ppt.ttx) from a colleague, I cannot open them, and the message "(40005): Unknown Exception" appears. We have both downloaded the Trados SDL Cumulative Patch 2, but it has not helped either. Things work smoothly in the other direction: my colleague can open the files created by me. Any ideas? Attila

Different Powerpoint versions?
Feb 8, 2007
Hi Attila, I take it you're both using build 759, and have registered the software.
A wild guess: are you using different Powerpoint versions?
Best regards, Ralf
