Hi all,

Since installing MultiTerm, my Trados 6.5 menu in MS Word 2003 is not showing up in the menu bar. The MultiTerm menu does show up instead, but I need the Trados menu when I have to fix a document.

I've tried deselecting MultiTerm in Tools > Templates & add-ons, and then the MultiTerm menu dissappears but the Trados menu is still missing.

Thanks for any help.

solution Mar 9, 2007

Hello,

I just had the same problem a few weeks ago.
I tought I had to uninstall and install again, but I have found this solution:

- Open your Word document or new one
- Go in Help
- Then in About Microsoft Office Word
- And click on the button called "Disabled items" (my Trados was considered as faulty or damaged)
- Finally, enable the disabled item (if this is Trados, obviously)

I hope it will help...

No disabled items... Mar 9, 2007

Thanks Marie for this suggestion, although I couldn't use it. I looked in there (never had heard of such option before!) but my Disabled Items list included no items
