Hi.

I was out at an interpretation yesterday and was working on my laptop on this project. Now I want to align this translation work I did with the original Spanish so I can take advantage of my work.

I have the SDL Trial 2006 version.

Does anyone know how to do the alignment? I follow the instructions in the pdf manual, and all goes well, but when I go to the .itd file and open the memory that I've updated with the alignment info, and try to apply it, it doesn't seem to contain any of the info from the alignment.

Thanks.
Sandra

Correct language settings? Mar 17, 2007

Hi Sandra,

It's difficult to say what went wrong in your case without any further information. Normally, alignments work like a charm in SDLX.

Are you sure that the languages you used in the alignment file (.iad) are exactly the same as those in the .itd file that you want to translate? If they aren't you won't get any matches from the TM.

Regards,
Claudia
