Hi everybody,

I have two inter-related questions regarding Trados TMs:

(1) When I open my Trados TMs, I never see the text contained in them. Is there a way of making it visible OTHER THAN by exporting the TM into an external file (.txt, .tmx)?

(2) Is there a way I can edit Trados TMs directly (that is, WITHOUT exporting the TM into an external file, editing that external file and reimporting it into the TM)?

maintenance in the workbench Apr 25, 2007

i think you can edit your trados tm directly in the workbench, i.e. file - maintenance, then right on the tu to edit or delete it.
however, imo doing it directly in the workbench is more tedious. i prefer to export it to txt first.

That's the only way, I know of.

You can use Maintainance in the Files menu for this. It is VERY useful - for instance to global-search-and-replace wrong terms, and/or do more advanced concordance searches.
