TagEditor Message pane flickers

Hi. I'm using TagEditor with Trados 7.5.
I've noticed that having saved my doc.ttx file, when I try to reopen the file in TagEditor the message pane flickers and will not read the messages - in this case, notes I've made on difficult points in the translation. It's not disastrous, but its very annoying. I wonder if anyone knows a cure?
