Hi everyone,

I recently downloaded the trial version of SDL Trados 2007. I have set the term recognition options in order to use a specific Multiterm database to help with my translation, and I keep on getting the above error message saying that the current database has no fuzzy index. At first I thought it was just a matter of exporting, importing again and then creating the fuzzy index, but I've already done that three times and still doesn't work.

Could it be because I'm using SDL Trados 2007 with quite an old version of MultiTerm ('95)? Are they maybe not compatible?

If anyone can assist, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Anna

I think so. My SDL Trados 2006 lists only MultiTerm 5 (Trados 5) and MultiTerm 7 as available options. I use MultiTerm 5.5 with no problem but MultiTerm 95 is way too old.

you can download a trial version MutiTerm as well May 22, 2007

as far as I know, reimport the Exported vocabulary into the new version(hopefully without major problems) and that would do it...

Thanks! :) Jun 20, 2007

Reimporting was not useful at all, I kept on getting the same error message over and over again. But I tried using an older version of Trados and now it works. Thanks!
