How can I create a Translation Memory in Trados after I have finished with the translation?

I am told that I can create a TM after finishing the translation (without using trados). How is this possible? I have to translate something, but my computer crashed, so I use my old one (which doesn't have trados). I want to finish the translation before the deadline and create the TM afterwards...

Please, any tip is welcome!!!

Use WinAlign Jun 1, 2007

You can use WinAlign to align source and target files, then import the result into your Trados Memory. It's fairly straightforward if both files have a similar layout.

I have never used winalign, but thanks very much for the tip, i hope it will work.. :S

does it take a long time to create it, though?

It takes few seconds when you are familiar with it:)

Hi Evi,

It depends on how long your files are, but it usually is pretty quick.
