Same as for the translation memory Jun 21, 2007

En effet, tu as loupé une étape

You need to add terms yourself, there is no basic terminology provided. Multiterm is a tool that lets you build your own terminology database or use a client's database during your translation work for that client.

As for the translation memory, it's the same thing: you need to "furnish" the translation memory with your own translations, there is no preexistent translation

As for the translation memory, it's the same thing: you need to "furnish" the translation memory with your own translations, there is no preexistent translation units provided (unless you obtain a TM from a client, but that's a different story!).

Merci... Jun 21, 2007

Je commençais à me douter de cette réponse mais je trouvais vraiment curieux qu'il n'y ait pas un glossaire de base fourni avec le logiciel. Merci pour la réponse.

English, please Jun 21, 2007

Bonjour Florence,
Please remember that the working language in this forum is English. You can, of course, post a query in French if you prefer - in that case, kindly use the French forum.

I'll leave the topic here since Marie-Claude responded in English.

Best regards,
Ralf

C'est comme ca, MutiTerm est nu. / So is it; it's empty Jun 22, 2007

Tu dois definir ton glossaire et l'enrichir pendant la traduction. Fais usage du menu contextuel du Workbench: 1. marque le mot source -> click droite -> Add Term -> Set as Source 2. marque le mot cible -> click droite -> Add Term -> Set as Target.

C'est le chemin le plus direct et pratique de construire ton glossaire pendant la traduction.

je m'excuse pour le manque d'accents.

Bonne chance!

this is the easiest and most direct way

good luck!
