Well, yes... Aug 3, 2007

The only way I'm aware of is making exports of each TM (into txt or tmx), creating a new empty TM, and importing all the export files. A lot of manual labour.

I heard that Trados Synergy (in the LSP version of 8.0) has a better way of handling this, or I might have dreamt it...

Maybe the other wizards here at proz knows a shortcut, or can construct a macro to handle this?

I must say that Star Transit has better support for connecting to parallell TMs, but sometimes a translator has no choice

/Jan

Hello!

First you have to Export (to txt) the memories you want to put together, one by one. Then create a new memory from scratch and import the previously exported memories.

Hope this is helpful!

Export them all to txt files and then import, one by one, into a new TM.

It's really simple Aug 3, 2007

Hi!
Follow these steps:
1. export the .txt file from all TMs;
2. create a new TM;
3. import the .txt files (pay attention to the merge options of the new TM).

You'll have one single TM,
Chiara

Importing into an existing one Aug 3, 2007

You can also import the others (after exporting them one by one as .tmx or .txt) into an existing TM without creating a new one.

Yavuz
