You can also download the Multiterm tutorial from the SDL Trados website: www.translationzone.com/en/Images/MTExtract_en_tcm18-766.pdf

But your file looks more like a SDLX file to me.

MultiTerm or Translation Memory? Aug 21, 2007

mdb looks like MultiTerm glossary - just to keep the expressions neatly separated.

MDB - SDLX Translation Memory or MultiTerm Termbase Aug 22, 2007

Hi Gisela,

If it's SDLX TM

Try to open it with SDLX - tool Maintain. Then export the TM in an TMX format. Then create a TM in Trados Workbench with the same languages and import the TMX file to populate the memory.

Then use the new memory with Trados Workbench + TagEditor.

====

If it's MultiTerm glossary database. Open your MultiTerm and, depending on your MultiTerm version, Attach or Load the External Termbase (i.e. the mdb file).
