Dear all,
Does anybody have a clue about this problem?
(SDL Trados v. 8.0.0.822, XP Professional).

When I import HTML files into TadEditor the tables are (a) only imported in part and (b) on export, they are partially missing and what is left looks 'orrible, i.e. destroyed...!

The HTML header in the files is:

Knowing that Trados is compatible with HTML 4.0, I think this may be the problem, but I don't know for sure.

Does anybody know of any work arounds?
At the moment the only thing I can think of is to manually edit thehHTMLs - most unsatisfactory!

Thanks for any help.

This is the problem at HTML level.

At an apparently random point in the various HTML files, various characters such as , and " aber being rendered at &... codes. Thereafter, Trados goes worng.

Currently I am manually fixing the HTML and manually typing in the translations. Where is Trados going wrong?

Thanks for any ideas.
