Have you opened the Trados toolbar Sep 27, 2007

Meanwhile, check if there is Trados tab appears along with the others. If so, you just have to open Trados toolbar, right-clicking with the mouse and choosing TW4WIn.

Sorry, I've made a mistake Sep 27, 2007

Forget the words "there is". Typo.
I meant:
Meanwhile, check if Trados tab appears along with the others. If so, you just have to open Trados toolbar, right-clicking with the mouse and choosing TW4WIn.

I assume that you are you are installing are using SDLTrados2007

Launch Word - click office button on the top right - click Word Options - clilck Add in - Click Manage choose Template from drop list press go

Then Template and Add-in dialog box will appear - check Trados and then press ok

if you cannot find Trados template - press Add - go to
C:\program files\SDLInternational\T2007\TT\Template\Trados

press ok

Word 2007 will not work with Trados 7.5 - but not sure with the latest patch

Word 2007 would not work with Word 2003

I'm asking which version of Trados you are using. An earlier version than SDL Trados 2007 (Trados 7.5 or earlier) will most likely not work with Word 2007 (check the SDL knowledge base on their website for more details).

Still having problems. Oct 4, 2007

Hi there,

The trados toolbar is not appearing in word 2007 (remember that you help me with this matter a few days ago?). I'm following the steps you told me but once I open the TradosS8 I get the following message

'This template does not exist'

Any solutions?

Thanks

Fabrice

Security settings in Word 2007 Oct 30, 2007

Hi,

did you change your macro security settings. You have to go to Word Options and then something like Confidence center, there Settings and you have to accept all digitally signed macros and Acces to VBA....

If nothing helps reinstall just Workbench. I also had to.

Regards

Noe

True Solution from the Trados company... Oct 30, 2007

Hi. Fabrice.
I hope this will help you and others who may have the same problem.
I use Win XP 2003, I had a similar problem and what I got from Trados support team was the following (after repeated uninstalling and re-installing the program.) Now, everything works. So, try it out.

1.
[If the menus disappear please go into Tools Templates and Addins in MS Word and ensure that the Trados and MultiTerm templates are checked.] from Robin/Trados

2. Easiest way out!! This link gives you the solution. Click, read and follow.

Hope you can use all whatever you invested.

Sincerely,
Kiyo Shima
