Hi everyone,
I have an urgent problem with a TTX file cleanup.
I have translated an INX (InDesign CS3 Interchange) document in TagEditor and cannot clean up the TTX now. When trying to do so, I always get the message "File too large. File skipped." The TM is updated but the file is obviously not cleaned up.
A second file cleans up without any problems.
I've tried the Trados Knowledge Base but haven't found anything relevant.

Does any of you know how to deal with this issue?

A thousand thank-yous in advance!

Empty your temp-folder Feb 1, 2008

Have had a similar situation. After I emptied my temp-folder, no problems anymore.

Windows temp folder Feb 1, 2008

It is usually located in your account on the HDD and a second one in the Windows installation folder.
The usual path for the first one would be c:\documents and settings\current user\local settings\temp - you will be astonished how many files can be gathered there. And nearly 100% of them are garbage...

Appreciated but another problem Feb 1, 2008

Dear Jerzy,
your kind help is really appreciated. After I've cleaned the TEMP folders, I didn't get the previous message any more. Yet I got a different one:

(-2147467259): Unexpected Tag '
contentflow id="u4394"' has been encountered at Controls
'normalspreads',
'contentflow id="u286f"'.

Do you happen to know what this is? It seems to have nothing to do with InDesign tags as these are OK (checked them with Tag Verifier and Xerox Plugin).

I'm getting a bit frustrated.

Sorry for bothering you.
