Hello,

My configuration:
TagEditor 7.5
Windows XP SP2

Processor 2 Ghz
Memory 1,5 GB

But Tageditor takes around 80-90 % of CPU but only when its window is open (regardless if Translation unit is open or not). When I am using top menu in Tageditor, minimalize its window or open for example Help>About window then CPU drops to normal. It seems like a bug and my laptop is going to melt from this heat...

Please help...

Alex

Spellchecker? Feb 12, 2008

Hi Alex

Could it be the MS Office Spellchecker? If you push Ctrl+Alt+Del and the task manager opens, can you see which application is using the CPU power? If it's WINWORD.EXE, you can kill it. To use the spellchecker you'd have to close TagEditor and open it again.

Good luck!
