When I try to open a power point file with Tageditor the 2 following messages show: "Failed to create file parser Trados.PowerPointFileParser" and then "(80005): Failed to create parser for plugin file format!". What the hell does that mean??? Many thanks in advance. Laura

I've had the same problem once with excel files. I think you best bet would be to scrap everything and then reinstall. This message means some filters TRADOS needs to process Microsoft files were not installed. In my case, it was due to an installation that went wrong. If it still does not work, I could then be a problem with the install package you downloaded. In this case, you would need to download it again.
