I have just got SDL Trados 2007, and never use multiterms before.
I have glossary in MS excel files that I wish to import into termbase, if possible.
Can anyone tell me how can I imported the file, please?

MultiTerm Convert Feb 20, 2008

Hi!

Check your documentation for MultiTerm Convert. This program is part of your software package and can be used to transform excel files into MultiTerm databases.

Kind regards,
Erik

Edit: One of our colleagues has composed a very nice instruction video, which helped me a lot, as the procedure is not quite simple. Look here: http://www.proz.com/topic/66890

PDF on how to convert Excel into MultiTerm Feb 20, 2008

http://trados-training.doku-trans.de/SDL%20Trados%20Training%20EN.pdf

It's chapter 12

I have just tried it myself, and it was easy to follow.
Just read the instructions carefully. Because I didn't find the setup windows (the text's) very intuitive...

Good luck!

The site hosting the original file is under maintenance. I uploaded my copy in FileFactory:
