Multiterm is suddenly disappeared from my Word Menu (no Multiterm title, no icons). It works perfectly alone and within Tag Editor, but I can no longer use it when I'm translating a Word document. Does anyone know the reason and, possibly, a solution? Thanks in advance,
Francesca

Exactly the same problem Feb 24, 2008

Same happened to me. No Multiterm in tool bars menu as well. I even reinstalled the whole Trados and Multiterm - had to do it anyway to install SP2, but it did not help at all. So I am waiting with Francesca for help.

Solution Feb 24, 2008

Copy MULTITERM(your version).DOT template from:

C:\TRADOS\TT\Templates or whatever path you use.

and paste it on

C:\Program files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP

Then run MS Word, and it should appear on the Menu bar.

If not, make it show by enabling MultiTerm from the Tool bar (View > Tool bar > MultiTerm).

much simpler... Feb 24, 2008

Copy MULTITERM(your version).DOT template from:
... etc ...

check if somehow multiterm.dot was inadvertently (it happens - sigh) ticked off the Word's add-ins. Then - and only then - climb the suggested Calvary.

Yet another question Feb 25, 2008

Hi Vito,

what do you mean exactly by Word's add-ins? How can I check that? Sorry for being so dum...

Grazie,
Francesca

IT WORKED! Feb 25, 2008

Thanks Vito!

I managed to find out what you meant by Word add-ins (thanks Google!) and it worked. I now have all my Multiterm icons back!

Grazie!!

Have a good day,
Francesca
