After translating a Word file in SDL Edit, several attempts to create the translation have proven unsuccesful.

The two error messages I'm getting are:

Unknown tag while converting to Word document

and

Failed to save OpenTag file.

Does anybody know what to do?

Thanks!

Nora

Hi Nora,

In this thread you will find the same error message but in Workbench
http://www.proz.com/topic/91982

Maybe you want to try the solution in case its works.

Ade

It worked, thanks! Feb 26, 2008

Thank you, Ade, saving the source file as rtf and then as doc again did the trick.
