Error message when applying PerfectMatch

We've been trying to use the PerfectMatch function in Synergy for the first time. Tried on three different systems, under both Windows XP and Vista. (Swedish language OS versions).

Always running version 2007 with SP2.

But the program always halt in the stage "Apply PerfectMatch".

The report shows "Failed: Hämtningen av COM-klassfabriken för komponenten med CLSID {E69DEF6F-E4BB-4086-9D54-A45AFDE72695} misslyckades på grund av följande fel: 80040154."

Which in English would be something like "Failed: Retrieval of COM class factory for component with CLSID
{E69DEF6F-E4BB-4086-9D54-A45AFDE72695} failed due to the following error: 80040154.

I know that this error code more or less just says "missing file", but I don't know what file that colud be.

We have tried re-registering the Trados components wihtout success.

We have also searched the registry for th CLSID, but it is absent.

We have also tried with various translatable/reference files, so it's not a problem with a specific file.

Would be very greatful for any suggestions. Even if you have no solution, it would be interesting to know if anyone has expereinced the same problem.

Also, if you have any registry key for the CLSID mentioned, it would also be very interesting to find out what it actually is.

This is a case for the official SDL support. We got all kinds of error messages when setting up Synergy, it was a matter of hanging on the phone with Trados over a one month period until we trimmed the environment to work.

For al good things about the Proz community, there are some things that you should demand of the provider who sold you this expensive piece of software, rather than rely on free peer support!
