Off topic: Serbian "Robin Hood", did one ever exist?

Hello all

Just a curiosity posting here, was there ever a Serbian Robin Hood who took from the rich and gave to the poor?, as opposed to "simply" fighting the Turks? I know there were many of the latter.

Nisam sigurna da li je Hajduk Stanko takodje davao i pomagao sirotinju. Koliko se sjecam (a jako davno sam procitala tu knjigu) ima naznaka da su se oko njega okupljali siromasni koje je je on svojom hajducijom hranio.
