All I now see in forums is a white rectangle above the poster's name. Logos and pictures still appear as usual on KudoZ pages.

I'll submit a support request about this, but I wondered if others are experiencing the same.

I can see your nice smile and hat, Jack! Can you see the flower that is substituting for my face until I find a photo I like?

Not in Firefox Feb 19, 2010

No, your flower is just a white rectangle.
But since writing my first post, I wondered if it might be something to do with the fact that Firefox upgraded me to version 3.5.8 yesterday, I tried accessing the site through Internet Explorer, and found the logos and pictures appearing there as normal.
I have submitted a report request, including the above information.

Check your Firefox browser settings for images Feb 19, 2010

Hello Jack,

Thanks for reporting this. However, this issue seems to be related to your browser's settings.

Could you please check your settings to see if you can enable the automatic loading of images (Tools > Options > Content) and let me know how it goes?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Lucia

Same here, build 3.5.8 is working fine. I found that deleting the cookies fixes many weird problems with Firefox.

Deleting ProZ cookie made no difference Feb 19, 2010

I deleted the ProZ cookie and logged in again, it made no difference. I am reluctant to delete all cookies, but I will if necessary. Is that what you did?

Try contacting Firefox support Feb 19, 2010

Thanks for confirming, Jack.

I checked Firefox website for you and I am afraid I could not find any information on known issues with images with their new version.

I suggest you try different settings or else contact Firefox support at http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Lucia

All cookies deleted, no change Feb 19, 2010

Have now deleted all cookies, it hasn't made any difference.
I'll see if Mozilla can do anything.
Updated to Firefox 3.6. Didn't help.
Found that laptop, also 3.5.8, now upgraded to 3.6, was OK.

Problem solved! Feb 19, 2010

Did a total uninstall & file removal followed by registry clean. Reinstalled Firefox 3.6, added Xmarks & synchronized with laptop to recover all bookmarks and passwords.
Pictures & logos now visible again.

I wasn't asked to update either Mar 3, 2010

I just happened to find out on the Web that Firefox 3.6 existed, so I updated to it. Maybe it's a Beta version. But I haven't had any trouble with it.
