He's been taken to task before, months ago, for starting a new thread here everytime he made a new blog post.

Now he's using proz as his actual blog, judging from the content and the style

Is he *really* back? I love his posts, they are so absolutely random! Gives me something to snigger over in my tea breaks.

One (wo)man's troll is another (wo)man's daily respite!

Yup, you can. It's always an answer to anything, major or minor, that may be causing any kind of concern. We can ignore people who ask too many kudoz questions, we can ignore any strange lumps in places there never we had 'em before, we can ignore people sending us emails asking us to marry them. We can shrug and carry on regardless. Or we could have a wee chat, see if other people share our concerns, be they major or of no consequence whatsoever. Luckily we are not all alike, otherwise we would have no oncologists or spam filters

I wonder if it would be possible to block certain people's forum contributions, just as it is possible in KudoZ?

I see this suggestion was made a few months ago: http://www.proz.com/forum/site_forums/158332-possibility_of_ignore_list_user_filter_for_forums.html

but it wasn't received with much enthusiasm
