Hello everybody,

I don\'t know whether this is an illegal request, but does anyone know whether there is a site where you can buy second hand DejaVu or other translators interested in selling DV?

Many thanks for your help

Try the DV list May 7, 2002

I don\'t think it\'s illegal, since you can\'t use DéjàVu without a hardware key. Try asking this question on the DV discussion list (messages to: dejavu-l@yahoogroups.com; subscribe by sending a message to dejavu-l-subscribe@yahoogroups.com).

buying software second hand is never illegal Jun 28, 2002

Just to comfort you: buying software second hand is perfectly honourable.

Copying software and using it somewhere else can indeed be illegal, depending on the license (commercial licenses usually rule out using the software on more than one machine).

However, if you purchase a software second hand, you should also be handed over the license, and that makes you the legal owner. (As of the moment of purchase, it becomes illegal for the seller to continue using the copy he still might have on his hard disk.)
