Group Buy - End if not enough buyers?

I have two questions on Group Buying through Proz. What happens if a Group Buy does not reach the required number of buyers? How long will the Group Buy run until it's closed due to lack of buyers?

From experience, I was entitled to an offer even though the whole number of products had not gone by the date stated.

I know it is and old forum, but I'm registered on a group buying that really interest me and I'd like to know the "expiry date" of the offer. It requires 25 people but we are only 7! .-(
