You can register on odesk.com, download its application and have your collaborators download it too. Then, you can simply sit back and be sure they are doing their job, you will also have a screenshot sent to you every 10 minutes to see their progress.
However, the condition is that once you accept to employ people this way, you need to pay them within 15 days. You will be prompted to leave your credit card details and the agreed upon amount will be applied to your account after 15 days, provided you were happy with their job.
Good luck! | | | |

EAP2011 United Kingdom | | Time Tracking Software | Sep 6, 2011 |
Hi Harold,
As some colleagues "said" before trust is an essential part in working with subcontractors...
But anyway time tracking is required when reporting to clients. I have used TimeStamp - http://www.syntap.com/downloads.htm and MyHours - http://www.myhours.com/
Both of them are free, easy to use. MyHours is online platform while TimeStamp is executable program.
You may try both of them and see which one is better for you.

I cannot imagine someone is going to take screen shots of what his "employee" is opening at the time just to track his status.
Anyway, here is what is written in the internet about that:
