Zone Alarm Security Suite won't update

For the past two days, my Zone Alarm Security Suite 6.5 anti-virus won't update. The update window displays the following message:
Error: could not resolve server.
(I have nearly 10 months left in my subscription) I submitted a support request on the Zone Alarm site, but it may take a few days...
Has anyone else had this problem?

upgrade to version 7 Jan 25, 2007

afaik, it is always like this when we have to upgrade. download the latest version from the site. then just upgrade it. then the update should work just fine. i think zonealarm now is acquired by checkpoint, as it says zonealarm by checkpoint on its site, and on the application.

I tried your suggestion, but I can't seem to find an upgrade on the site. I also tried to update using the link on their site, but the page won't load. (The usual cannot find server message) It almost seems like there is some kind of conflict between the site and my computer... I can't see any of their graphics, either.

you can try this link for the security suite, from zonelabs: http://dl2.zonelabs.com/bin/free/1038_zl/zaSuiteSetup_70_302_000_en.exe
if you have download manager, that would be better.

Mulyadi- you have been a great help. I downloaded the new version through the link that you provided, but I still have the same problem- when I try to update, it says that it is unable to connect. Even through the site update link.
I guess that I will have to wait for their response, and I'll keep my surfing to a minimum in the meantime...
Frustrating!

when you upgrade, i think zonealarm will prompt you to restart. after the restart, then you can reconfigure it.
as for surfing, i believe that firewall is more important than antivirus, and i think the firewall configuration should be more than enough for you to enjoy the net.
anyway, hope your problem can be solved soon.
