I've downloaded Translator's Abacus in order to do word counts of pdf files. It works for Word files, but for every pdf file I've tried, it gives me "0" as the count. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Abacus seems to count the words in the PDF without cutting, pasting and counting them in Word. Do you have Acrobat Reader or Adobe installed? Do the PDF documents contain selectable words? They might just as well be imported faxes or other pictures.

Success,
Gerard
