I am trying to type in greek characters in a Dreamweaver file. I am using an english keyboard and have switched the language to Greek from the Windows language bar. However when I type into my Dreamweaver file, no Greek comes up, just some odd characters.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you all

Sandra

In code or design window? Feb 7, 2008

In the code window, non-Latin 8859-1 characters, are usually displayed with their html code (starting with &).

I suggest looking if they display correctly in the design window, if not you need to start playing around with (or learning about) the encoding.
