are the people who \"thank\" others for \"agreeing\" to their answers. That must be the height of preposterousness and evokes a vision of the answerer sitting at the PC, waiting greedily for some backslapping, clicking the \"refresh\" button every 2 minutes. It\'a absolutely pathetic and gives us some idea of why people answer - to gain some sort of validation from their peers.

¡ Y yo que me aplicaba en no sólo dar las gracias, sino que además agradezco personalmente, con su nombre a la persona que está de acuerdo con mi respuesta !



No estoy agradeciendo un voto por mí, y me parece que ahí está la confusión.

Pero de todos modos, me siento como si me hubieran amarrado las manos... ¿Qué hago?

Gracias por contestar y no hacer como estoy haciendo yo ahora, que veo y hago como que no veo.

I would suggest that you just ignore the comments that you quoted. I just consider it a polite way to thank a colleague who has taken the time to agree with your answer - assuming that I have the time to do it! It is simply a small courtesy, and anyone that suggests otherwise is simply small-minded, in my opinion.



Please carry on doing what you were doing - if you feel that it is appropriate - and ignore this petty person. His/her comments really are not worth taking serious... See more

No creo que debas hacer caso de este tipo de comentarios. Evidentemente hay mentes resentidas y envidiosas que están buscando siempre el pelo en la leche para poder criticar cualquier cosa.



Creo que son personas que se sienten tan inseguras de su capacidad profesional, que necesitan desmerecer al prójimo para sentirse importantes.

Creo que son personas que se sienten tan inseguras de su capacidad profesional, que necesitan desmerecer al prójimo para sentirse importantes.



Caulquiera que haya leído un poquito, no digo mucho, de psicología elemental sabe que el anhelo más importante del ser humano, además del amor, es el reconocimiento.



Y agradecerle a un colega un agree, es una forma de reconocer el tiempo que se ha tomado en leer tu respuesta, pensar si está de acuerdo o no con ella y luego apretar el botón.



Yo creo que agradecer, es simplemente una muestra de buena educación y no pienso dejar de hacerlo.



No tiene nada que ver con los puntos.



Si no existiera esa posibilidad, yo no hubiera tenido la oportunidad de conocer gente maravillosa y de ganar los amigos que he ganado a través de ProZ.



Como decimos en Argentina: \"No des por el pito más de lo que el pito vale\".

Es cierto que algunas personas pueden darte un \"agree\" sólo por unos puntos pero la mayoría no lo hace por ello.

A mi me gusta que cuando doy una respuesta algún traductor en otro lado confirme (o no) mi propuesta. Me hace sentir segura y genera confianza en mi trabajo. Esa persona que se tomó el trabajo de hacer un clic en \"agree\" o \"disagree\" me está ayudando con su comentario. Por eso es mi obligación agradecerle tal gentileza. Es cierto que algunas personas pueden darte un \"agree\" sólo por unos puntos pero la mayoría no lo hace por ello.

A mi me gusta que cuando doy una respuesta algún traductor en otro lado confirme (o no) mi propuesta. Me hace sentir segura y genera confianza en mi trabajo. Esa persona que se tomó el trabajo de hacer un clic en \"agree\" o \"disagree\" me está ayudando con su comentario. Por eso es mi obligación agradecerle tal gentileza. Más de una vez encontré que me había equivocado al responder y un \"disagree\" certero me hizo notar mi error. Así aprendí. ¿Crees que no debería darle las gracias a esa persona para que otro no crea que busco acumular puntos?

De igual manera, quien me dice o te dice que acepta tu propuesta, ¿no está de alguna manera valorando tu trabajo? Claro que hay que agradecer. Es un gesto de elemental cortesía.

Es en base a esa cortesía que el sitio funciona y te ruego que no te sientas intimidada por comentarios absurdos de personas que tienen muy pocas nociones de la convivencia humana.

Evidencia varias cosas:

Pero, ¿Con la intención de que nos vuelvan a dar KudoZ? ¡Qué esperanza! Lo hacemos porque nos gusta charlar, y porque somos mucho mas extrovertidos que los sajones. Lo sé por experiencia, pues estoy casada con un estadounidense. Y aunque todos tenemos virtudes somos, sin duda, diferentes.



3)El comentario es gratuito e inconduscente. Lo que se llama \" opinar al santo botón\".¿Qué diablos le importa, en qué le afecta a esta persona si los integrantes de la comunidad ING-ESP damos o no damos las gracias?



Conclusión: Se trata de un comentario prejuicioso, irrespetuoso y que pone al descubierto una profunda ignorancia por parte de quien lo hizo.

My personal opinion on this is that we can\'t ALL please ALL of the people ALL the time, so just LIVE & LET LIVE. I have often felt annoyed at the way some self-righteous people feel they have to point out the error of their ways to others.



So just ignore them Claudia. It\'s actually refreshing to see the warm comments and to enjoy the spontaneity of the reamrks made by contributors.

Me siento aliviada, me quitaron un peso de encima. Por un lado me pregunté cómo se habrían interpretado mis agradecimientos anteriores (que ya no podía borrar) y por otro si tendría que moderar y cambiar mi forma de proceder. ¡Uf!

Tuve la sensación de que podía ser un problema cultural como dice Bertha. Otra persona pensaba más o menos lo mismo y sugería esto :

Sucede que para algunos puede llegar a ser incluso incómodo presenciar, aunque solo sea de forma virtual, las demostraciones de afecto o de extrema cordialidad entre extraños.



Mi sugerencia es que tomes los comentarios con un grano de sal (o con una tonelada), según corresponda.
