I'm looking for an English-Spanish translation software and I'd like an advice how to choose one. I'm mainly working on engineering topics(books, manuals, website etc)

Si lo que quieres es sólo una traducción aproximativa, puedes hacerlo en internet con cualquiera de las herramientas que hay, como Systran, Balbelfish, Google, etc...
