nos permitirá hacer uso de ellos para lograr un mejor

desempeño profesional y contar con una mayor ventaja competitiva.



El objetivo de la clase es brindar información sobre técnicas para la

formación de intérpretes.



Esta presentación estará a cargo de la TP. PU. MA. Cristina de Ortúzar directora del centro de capacitación MCdeO CENTRO DE PERFECIONAMIENTO.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL CURSO:

INTENSIVE INTERPRETING COURSE



VENUE:

The course will use specialist facilities at the McdeO CENTRO DE CAPACITACION Darregueira 2244, Planta Baja Dto. 1.

DURATION:

This course will run for three quarters: Fall, Winter and Spring, that is 3 hours, once a week.



COURSE CONTENT:



FALL

Legal interpreting:



An Introduction to the Common Law Legal System



The language of the Law



The legal Interpreter



Interpreting skills : simultaneous-consecutive



Assesment: will consist of an assignment, a terminology test and an oral viva examination.

Minimum pass mark: 60%



WINTER

Business Interpreting:



An introduction to the world of Business





The language of business





The Business Interpreter





Interpreting skills: consecutive with note-taking



Assesment: will consist of an assignment, a terminology test and an oral viva examination.

Minimum pass mark: 60%



SPRING

Conference Interpreting:



An introduction to Conference interpreting



The language of conference



The Conference Interpreter



Interpreting skills: simultaneous interpretation



Assesment: will consist of an assignment, a terminology test and an oral viva examination.

Minimum pass mark: 60%
