I\'m hoping someone can help me with a particular translation problem I am having. Specifically, I am looking for the correct term in Spanish for the English word externship. I am not convinced that there is an actual term in use currently in Spanish. I have gotten everything from \"miembro externo\" to \"empleo autonamo.\" I\'m wondering if, in Spanish speaking countries, there is really any difference between externship/extern and internship/intern. In English, I believe the difference is that an internship is run/managed by the organization or company you are placed in. Conversely, an externship is run/managed by say a school (in most cases). I hope someone out there can help me since I see this type of thing coming up more and more on applications and descriptions of study abroad programs.

Hola Linda... Mar 17, 2003

Saludos, Au
