Hi fellow students,

I was chatting with Sole the other day and we came upon an interesting point, which applies the most to those trying to get some translation jobs - self-advertising.

What strategies would you employ, have you heard about employing, or have you employed, to get people to check you out?

I'm currently advertising on Google AdWords and found that I don't really know exactly what people will search for when they actually want a translator, and not a computer translation...so I am experimenting.

I also want to put up a blog or something, tell my friends, see if there are any directories I can put my site on, etc...

But this could be a good thing to discuss!

Regards,
Kevin
