I was wondering whether anyone could recommend a few useful and good dictionaries on cd or paper versions and maybe web-links from Swedish to English, and maybe also from Swedish to Danish?
Thanks ;0)

Probably the best. Available in two volumes and on CD. Also in the WordFinder range of references, which includes many glossaries in a variety of languages. | | | |

Hi all,
There is a community dictionary available at http://wordgraphs.com , which we're hoping to develop with a little help from the Web users.
So far it contains 9000 entries translated from Swedish into Polish and English, but everyone who signs in can add their own words and expressions.
Another nice function is the possibility to request translations, which can later be answered or rated by other users, and finally the author of the request can select the answer that best matches their needs.
As this is only a beta version, we'll highly appreciate any feedback and criticism
Greetings,

Wow, that's a very nice site, Radek. I see possibilities in it.
I just wanted to mention my own little resource in this context (but while Radek is in beta, I am just in gamma or delta...). It's a system where people will be able to generate customized, targeted dictionaries to print out for personal purposes. (I am particularly focusing on language learning needs here.)
The current dictionary version for Swedish-English can be found at:

There is very little content right now, but there should be more in a month or two.
