Hello,

I have been looking for online resources for teaching spanish as a foreign language but have come up with very little. I checked out the place Fernando Toledo suggested (http://www.proz.com/topic/41369) but is it more for people that use ipod and things like that. I am looking more for online materials that could be used in an adult class. There are tons of references for english but I would like to know if there is anything like that for spanish.

I have tried adapting some of the materials I have found in english but the grammar exercises and explanations are not good for adapting into another language. I hope someone can suggest smoe sites that I could maybe visit. Thank you very much.

bye for now,

Alexandra

Materiales del instituto Cervantes... Jul 2, 2006

Hello Alexandra Jul 5, 2006

I am a French and Spanish teacher at the high school level. I use a lot of online resources in my teaching. One of the very good ones, which will be appropriate for adult learners (it is college level Spanish) is: http://www.drlemon.net/
you can also go to the bbc website under languages.
A very useful site is also the www.quia.com
you can find a lot of ideas and exercises, it is a paying site though.
Hope this helps.
Mireille

Another site... Nov 17, 2006

I personally like

http://www.studyspanish.com/

but like most sites it tends to break down the language into grammar structures, and doesn´t pay attention to conversational skills. They have some nice exercises though...
