I suppose the box "Translate 100% matches automatically" in Options > Profile > Settings > Fuzzy index is checked.

Where are the previously translated sentences? If they are in the same file or in a folder/project that is specified under "reference material" then it should work. Nonetheless you may try to create a separate reference library and add them there.

Another possibility is that the same source segment has multiple translations in the among the specified reference materials, and then the replacement is not automatic (if "No automatic replacement if variants exist" is checked in Options > Profile > Settings > Fuzzy index.

Sometimes a simple restarting of the program helps.
