Analysis of the potential market for the language industry Jul 10, 2007

I think that every person interested in working as a translator or interpreter should be aware of many different facts contained in this article. For it sheds light on a series of issues faced by the very core of national economies: the companies, small and big - and their need to make good use of linguistic resources available worldwide.
Perhaps this article could be the preface to a longer essay / research on those issues. In any case, if this article is to be read by language professionals, it constitutes a good starting point for a person who has language skills to offer - and no concrete idea of where to target his efforts.
And of course, potential clients wouldn't do any bad if they read it, too.

What about today? Jul 21, 2015

Interesting article. I am wondering whether there are any extension or similar studies.
